West SystemWest System Epoxy
We used West System Epoxy to coat both sides of the fascia boards. This made my initial purchase of marine grade plywood over-kill.

At the boat, we trimmed and fitted the new fascia boards using a power grinder.

Our careful pattern making paid off. The new boards fit with minor trimming.

We secured the new fascia boards to the fiberglass cabin sides with Liquid Nail adhesive. This turned out not to hold at all. When the ports were finally installed, it was the port frame and the teak trim that ended up securing the fascia. We also spread a "dam" of marine epoxy putty on the cabin side around the port cut-out. This served to protect the fascia board from any water that might get through the port sealant.
